——In 2009, Pennsylvania Chapter 109 Safe Drinking Water Regulations were revised to incorporate the Federal Ground-
——water Rule. A key Component of these revisions requires that all community water systems maintain at least 4-log

—-•Public Water System Monitoring Waviers
——All waviers from PA DEP for the monitoring of synthetic organic contaminants and volatile organic chemicals have
——since expired as of December 31, 2010. The expiration of the waviers now requires the monitoring for inorganic
——chemicals, volatile organic chemicals, synthetic organic contaminants, asbestos, dioxin and PCB’s. A 9-year compliance
