Project Description:
KCE supplied survey support (pre-survey calculations, plan review, file conversion, benchmark establishment, and field layout of column lines) for horizontal and vertical control at ArtsQuest’s SteelStacks Campus and the Performing Arts Center sites. The Performing Arts Center is a four-story steel and glass structure that houses live music, films, festivals and various celebrations year-round on the grounds of the former Bethlehem Steel plant.

Project Description:
KCE performed and prepared an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey for Conectiv Energy’s 60.93-acre facility in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The land title survey work included the preparation of two long easement descriptions; a Waterline Withdrawal/Discharge Easement for water drawn from the Lehigh River and a Gas & Oil Pipeline Easement for gas service from Easton Road.

Project Description:
KCE performed an ALTA survey in support of this shopping center development. The work involved flood plain calculations to obtain a FEMA map revision, future right-of way determinations for a planned highway widening, and design for ADA-compliant handicap parking.

Project Description:
KCE provided AutoCAD services, pre- and post-survey calculations, detailed stake-out, existing feature/topographic surveys of main tie-in points, High Wall Monitoring, and the establishment of an intricate system of permanent survey control in NAVD 88 – PA South zone state plane coordinate system for Essroc, the leading manufacturer of cement in North America. KCE also provided its services in support of the construction of a 1.7-mile conveyor system that included two underground tunnels and a gallery bridge 150 feet above the quarry floor. The completed conveyor system annually eliminates 162,000 truck trips per year from the local roads and state highways.

Project Description:
KCE provided 123 AutoCAD services, pre- and post-survey calculations, detailed stake-out, existing feature/topographic surveys of main tie-in points, and establishment of an intricate system of permanent survey control in NAD 83 – PA South zone state plane coordinate system for the Keystone Cement Company’s plant in Bath, PA. The $200 million plant modernization project’s most visible improvement is a 320-foot tall twin concrete tower within which limestone will be heated to 1650 degrees Fahrenheit before it goes into a new kiln that converts it into cement. The plant modernization also includes an entirely new mining area and crusher that utilizes a one-mile long air gravity conveyor and silo feed chutes to carry the raw material to the plant for processing. KCE’s surveyors are also laying out foundation and electrical room locations and column lines for the 782-foot long Limestone Building’s construction.
