Project Description:
KCE was responsible for the site design and for the preparation of the final approval and construction plans and documents. This was a unique example of KCE’s application of engineering expertise to urban land development. It involved numerous logistical considerations and required an extensive familiarity with the City of Allentown’s zoning and land development process.

As site engineers for the Riverside Medical Campus project, KCE was responsible for the design of all site infrastructure and for the preparation of the approved construction plans and documents. KCE also conceived an innovative temporary highway design that allowed the project to move forward in spite of various coordination difficulties related to the multiple phases of highway improvements that were being proposed along Freemansburg Ave.
